top ten: friday. and guest posters wanted!

it's Friday already?! maybe it's because I've worked everyday, but did the week go by fast for you?

and so here we are...the last day for my top ten! I hope you've enjoyed all my ramblings about my favorite things!

I figured today I'd do a hoge pog of lists. enjoy :)

top ten favorite movies:
1. The Wizard of Oz. because there really is no place like home.
2. Beauty and the Beast. makes me cry every time.
3. How to loose a Guy in Ten Days. matthew mcconaughey, yes please.
4. Bride Wars. kate hudson is too beautiful for words, and the ending with the quote about best friends is amazing.
5. Elf. anytime of the year it's still funny.
6. Eat, Pray, Love. julia roberts.
7. Accepted. too funny.
8. Austin Powers. any of them. I was austin powers for halloween one year.
9. It's Complicated. funny, funny, funny.
10. The Sandlot. yep.

top ten favorite places I'll go someday:
1. Greece.
2. Fiji.
3. Italy.
4. California.
5. New York City.
6. Hawaii. again.

top ten favorite ways to turn that frown upside down:
1. starbucks. not rushed though.
2. the beach. the sun, the sand, the tan you'll get...does it get any happier?
3. spending a large amount of quite time with God.
4. mani and pedis. plus you look adorable too.
5. reading a great blog. seriously.
6. target. baithing suits, new clothes, and you can grab toothpaste while you're at it.
7. dogs. or even puppies.
8. new shoes. flops, heels, sparkles, straps, you name it.
9. ice cream. ben & jerrys phish food preferably.
10. long phone conversations with friends to catch up.

so there they are. movies, places, and...happy things? hope you enjoyed the little insight into what my favorite things are.

I'm a reality tv junky. it's bad sisters.

top ten "reality tv" shows I watch:
1. Bethany (seasons 1 & 2). she's so funny!
2. The Bachelor/Bachelorette. all fighting to 'find love'.
3. Real House Wives (mostly OC and NY). this one I don't like to admit out loud.
4. Dog the Bounty Hunter. sonny and I still question why we didn't go find him on our honeymoon.
5. Amazing Race. my sister and I want to go on one day! how much fun would that be?!
6. Master Chef. I love cooking shows. maybe it will inspire me...one day.
7. The Apprentice. D trump is the man.
8. The Hill/ Laguna beach. when they were on. don't judge.
9. Pawn Stars. does this count as reality tv? either way sooo interesting!
10. Americas Next Top Model. ditto from above.

girls, I told, I'm a junky. it's terrible. it sucks me in and I can't stop!

top ten favorite tv shows:
1. The Office. Micheal Scott. done deal.
2. Greys Anatomy. I started watching season 3, then played catch up, now don't miss an episode.
3. Doug. yes Doug, like Patti Mayonnaise, and Skeeter.
4. Mary Tyler Moore Show. sonny and I have started to watch it before bed and it's wonderful.
5. Spongebob Squarepants. old school, like before the movie came out. it's hysterical.
6. Home Improvement. family sitcom. the best.
7. Fresh Prince of Bel Air. because Will Smith is the man.
9. Everybody loves Raymond. if my family had a tv show, this would be it.
10. American Idol. is this a 'tv show'? or reality? either way it must be on the list.

and so there they are.
my favorites. me and reality tv need to break up soon. it's no good. but so addicting.

top ten: wednesday, and a laughing baby.

hello beautiful ladies.
so before I begin on my top ten for wednesday, I really need to fill you in on how my week is playing out. I have come to the point where that saying 'when it rains, it pours' has been the tag line of my week...BUT the good news is that I am now laughing at it.
Ok so...my wonderful niece...she's teething, so she gets kinda fussy at times, but has also become quite clingy at times. which is awesome because of course I want the worlds cutest baby in my arms at all times; however it brings on mass amounts of pain to my arms (and legs from bending down with her in my arms) that while at work I can no longer carry the normal 3 plates I've moved down to 2 the past two days in such pain.
Moving right along.
Sonny and I have been juggling getting to work, babysit, and tennis (him not me) with only one car for a week. it's been a blast.
Yesterday at work...I went to go pull my book out of my apron and out popped my iPhone.

yep. shattered it. and now it looks like a cob web. also if I text you and things don't make sense...it's because I can't see some of the text.

and then today...the icing on my cake.

I took Reagan out to lunch for the first time, and all went well, except on the way over, she apparently chewed a hole in my water bottle that I had given her to play with. and when I picked her up she was soaking went. the only clothing store around was goodwill, so in we went to find a pretty new pair of purple paints.

I left the house this morning to babysit with all my work attire because I go right from Reagan to work. as I was getting ready to walk out of my sisters house I put my shoes on to find that I not only had 2 different shoes...but I had grabbed two left footed shoes.

I have 15 mins to get to work.

it takes exactly 15 mins from my sisters, to get to work.

I honestly thought about just wearing them and calling it a night, but that wonderful hubby of mine highly advised it would be the worst idea ever.

every body now:

Ok ok ok, haha. It's funny, two left shoes, broken phone. Laughing is a good sign I hear :)

Wednesday: websites

top ten favorite websites-
1. facebook. no explanation needed.
2. espn. I'm a sports nut. except for bball right now. go mavs.
3. blogger. yet again.
4. twitter. I've just recently started to love this site. quotes are my fav.
5. usa today. especially on the ipad, the 'pictures of the day' are incredible!
6. netflix. movies streaming right on my computer, yes please.
7. faith blogs. so much inspiration!

Tuesday: music.

summer for me can always be remembered by what music I listened too. everything from road trips, to the beach, to just getting lunch all have theme songs for me. so here are my lists of summer favorites! enjoy!

1. three little birds: bob marley. i could just do all 10 bob songs, but i'll put in some variety.
2. dancing in the moonlight: toploader. easily one of my favorite songs. ever.
3. always be my baby: mariah carey. best when turned up too loud and the windows rolled down.
4. water: brad paisley. just jump in the water.
5. forever: chris brown. first song played at my wedding.
6. send me on my way: rusted roots. the song from matilda.
7. carry this picture for luck: dashboard confessional. because a good whinny band is great sometimes!

9. o praise Him: david crowder band. on the beach, looking at the waves. done deal.

3. change: taylor swift. yet again, the whole list can be taylor but variety is good.

I got the idea for a 'top ten week' from Annies Blog; read my post real quick because the minute you click that link you'll be stuck on her blog for hours! She's such an inspiration, and a wonderful writer!

Monday: life.

top ten things in my purse-
1. cell phone. no explanation needed.
2. wallet. life costs money.
3. a pen. needed at the bank, store to mark off what you bought, etc.
4. lip chap. yes I call it lip chap. don't judge. one of those things you said as a child...and I've never corrected myself.
5. sunglasses. how do people walk outside in Florida without them?
6. lip gloss. totally different than lip chap; my favorite: ultra mentha lip shine from Bath and Body works

(go get some now)

7. key. house key, car key, mail key, key for the pool.

8. a list. who knows what might be on that list, but there is always one in there.

9. gum. because coffee breath is not cute, ever.

10. a bible verse. I've taken Beth Moores challenge to learn a new verse every 1st and 15th of the month, it's always on a sticky note.

top ten things to make me smile-

1. Reagan. you've all seen the pictures.

2. the beach. is there anything any more relaxing?

3. new blogs. inspiration moves me.

4. target. is it the clothes? or the red? or the fact that my target always has bathing suits for sale?

5. the sunshine. it's been scientifically proven, happy people love the sun.

6. family. crazy or not.

7. the hubby. that one was easy.
8. beautiful pictures. especially those from my wedding.

9. daffy dog.

10. my little sister. I wasn't sure God could make someone as funny as me, but the girl is a trip.
