still the one

hey girls,
i have to be honest and tell you that i am having some major writers block. i'm serious when i tell you that those 31 days took a lot out of me.
thankfully i'm finding little things to blog about so you all don't think i'm totally boring. like instafridays (so fun) and this wonderful challenge i just found the other day: still the one, a marriage challenge.

the challenge is for me to love on my man and let him know how much i love him.
which might seem silly, but...no one does it enough.

being a christian, i believe in the old fashioned man of the house kind of marriage. the one like the bible talks about. which means i constantly need to be praying he makes the best choices for us.

i missed week one, so i might go back and do that at the end.
but i picked up with week two which is remind him that you love him.

it's always been the little things for me.

i married a man who brings my flowers just because. i married a man who still opens up my car door even in the walmart parking lot. i'm lucky.

this week i had to write the hubs a letter telling him {simply} how much i loved him.
it couldn't have been more perfect timing.

things are already crazy busy and the holidays are going to be here so soon which means things are going to get even crazier, so it was nice to just take 5 minutes and write him a love note.

i may have had to help him find it...i tried to be cute and put it in his computer bag but this morning when i realized it's been a day since i put it in there i figured a little map and directions to the letter wouldn't hurt him :)

i'm super excited about this little challenge because he's the most important person in my life, and sometimes i don't think i tell him enough.

if you're married, i encourage you to hop on over to skinned knees and take part of this with us.

i hope you're thursday will be fabulous!

all my love,
Meg

That 31 days wore me out too, even though my topic wasn't as challenging as yours! :) I feel the same way about my blog right now, just trying to keep it rolling. I love this challenge! So great!
