i wonder

sometimes just listening to worship music can put me in the greatest of places with the Lord.
it's almost like it doesn't require a lot of thought. just listen. and sing to Him.

we sang this song last week at youth and i fell in love.
the past week has been a rough one, so it's songs like this that remind me that i'm not in control on my life, He is. and He gave up way too much for me to waste it.

happy monday.

"I am afraid
For no one’s ever sacrificed
and loved me this way
So on my face I fall under
Your heavy grace
Here I lay in awe and wonder"

I'm so glad you got to take the time to reconnect! Sometimes it's hard to not loose focus on what matters. Give it up to the J man.

What a great song!! Sometimes I feel the same way...worship music just gets me straight to the heart of God.

Just found your blog from the do something good link up and am just getting aroudn to commenting! Glad you got in last minute! I didn't sign up, but have been so thrilled with meeting so many great girls through it anyway. And I feel you on the journal obsession! Nothing is as beautiful as a well worn, written, loved journal.

new follower :)

i found more contemporary worship music just a few years ago and fell in love with it - its true, you can feel closer to God without doing much.
